West Haven, Connecticut attorney Robert C. Mirto graduated from Yale University and the University of Connecticut School of Law. He has tried many federal and state criminal cases and a myriad of injury cases. Attorney Mirto is a member of the Federal and State bars in Connecticut, as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
In 1972 and thereafter he represented one of the Watergate participants who was never indicted. He appeared before the Watergate Commission with his client.
Attorney Mirto is a caring advocate who has successfully represented many clients over his 50 years in practice. His success is a direct result of the depth of his concern for doing the right thing for everyone he represents.
Mr. Mirto was a public defender in the 8th Circuit Court in West Haven from 1966 to 1969, the era of Vietnam and the unrest that it caused in New Haven and elsewhere. That experience shaped, to a large degree, his ability to provide vigorous representation without personal judgment.
